I started hiking in at dawn to "The Wave" of Coyote Buttes, in the Vermilion Cliffs / Paria Canyon Wilderness, and was on location in time for the last hour of great morning light. But one cannot live on one hour of light for so much planning and preparation to get to this point in time of this difficult to get to place. I would not let one hour of light define me, so rather I stayed on location all day chasing the shifting light, until there was no more light to chase. In the sixth hour of my patience I was rewarded with this entry of light into my daily ledger.
