On Aztec Peak, on forest road 487 of the Tonto National Forest, I stopped at the top of Workman Creek Falls, and looked down into the rugged forest canyon below, to admire the Oak, Maple, and Sycamore bits of Autumn peaking out amongst the tall Ponderosa Pines. Here is where some of the real ruggedness of the area is showcased.
