Fall At The Falls
On Aztec Peak, on forest road 487 of the Tonto National Forest, I stopped at the top of Workman Creek Falls, and looked down into the rugged forest canyon below, to admire the Oak, Maple, and Sycamore bits of Autumn peaking out along the base of the falls. Here is where some of the real ruggedness of the area is showcased, as you look down at the 180 foot falls that can be descended with the proper gear. Workman Creek Falls is best seen just after a heavy rain as the falls are flowing nicely.
