Secret Within The Beauty
“Beautiful doesn't begin to describe it. A flower is beautiful. But this is beautiful the way that a person is beautiful- terrifying with its jagged edges, yet seductive with its crevices that hide so many secrets.” ~ Jeri Smith-Ready
This is about half-way point of the "trail" to and from the Devils Chasm Cliff Ruins in the Tonto National Forest, while standing on top of a monolithic boulder so large, it near perfectly fills and fits the narrow bottom of this canyon. Water has learned to pass easily, but humans at this point will need some rock skills and/or a climbing rope. Often there is a rope here, but you never know till you get here. I think this part is at least part of the "Devil" in "Devil's Chasm".
