At Silver Lake, the starting point of my journey into the Ansel Adams Wilderness area. I was ready to create new magic and memories. Upon gaining some elevation, I stopped to catch my breath and take this one look back at Silver Lake below. In that brief and quiet moment, I finally began to absorb the scent of the air's mixed fragrance of lake and mountain -- The foundation of my memories here.
