After our third day of rafting the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, we set camp for the evening and then sat around relaxing. Charly quietly sitting on this rock in the dappled, shadowed sunlight caught my eye, so I began to photograph him. When Charly realized what I was up to, he immediate expressed himself in his typical style, which after a few days together was becoming a regularity anytime I pointed the camera at him. Of course he looks quite serious in this first image I shot, but by the end, he could barely keep his finger up from laughing so hard.
