On Aztec Peak, on forest road 487 of the Tonto National Forest, I stopped near the top of the Workman Creek Falls, at this old water-shed and pond spillover. At the bottom of the stairs is a lovely pond before it spills over the diversion, along its way over the falls and downstream. Not only that, on this day, there were some nice sized trout swimming around. The Autumn-colored setting and wonder air temperatures made this a very peaceful setting, as the morning sun continued to rise above.
