Autumn At The Lazy J
A few hundred yards from Workman Creek, along Rose Creek, of Arizona's Tonto National Forest is where my mountain property lies. I step outside to walk the land daily as I always do, and the chilly air of Autumn tightens the skin on my bare arms and face. Summer has ended all too quickly, and some of the leaves on the trees have already started to burn with the colors of fall. Autumn colors here are so bright and intensely beautiful. It’s like nature is trying to fill you up with color, to saturate you so you can stockpile it before winter turns everything muted and dreary.
