Autumn Falls On Workman Creek
On Aztec Peak, off of forest road 487 of the Tonto National Forest, I drove to Workman creek at "The Falls" recreation site and bounded around the creek exploring. This is how most people enjoy the Autumn harmony of being creek-side, and to those adventurous types, a difficult hike upstream for the next hour or so can get you to the base of the 180 foot Workman Creek falls, or for the less adventurous, the mildly difficult forest road will take you above the falls for a glorious look at Autumn flung through rugged canyon below.
