Most of my walks into White Pocket are during day, and involve walking out in the dark, as I usually stay on location on the last of the light has worked its magic. Yet while walking back across this other-worldly landscape at 7pm at the end of March, I had to stop for this very quick image, exposed to allow the sandstone to look like daytime, yet with the unreal blue cloudy textures more easily seen in early evening.
