White Pocket Dream
"It is almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream." ~ Bern Williams
Photographed in White Pocket, Arizona, hidden within the desert expanse of the Paria Canyon-Vermillion Cliffs National Monument, near the Arizona/Utah border, is a phantasmagorical collection of colorful cross-bedded cliffs, where the formations heave and drip like some kind of geological ice cream sundae melting in the sun -- Erosion carved, painted with warm hues, and utterly breath-taking, the landscapes that surround White Pocket are like from a dream.
Seeking adventure and following a never-ending quest for the perfect photograph, I returned here leading a group of fellow photographers to take White Pocket by storm—and we were successful.
