While approaching the next rapid of the day, on day 3 of my 8-day, 188-mile rafting adventure down the Colorado River, through the Grand Canyon, I waited till the last possible second to put away my camera and start holding on, as we started into the next rapid. This rapid has a big decline, as evidenced by the fact that I have not yet started into this rapid, yet its end is out of view.
