On The Fence
"It doesn't matter which side of the fence you get off on sometimes. What matters most is getting off. You cannot make progress without making decisions.” ~ Jim Rohn
When decisions and actions need to made in life, I am one to often climb onto the fence, and spend too much time there. Sometimes it is the consuming need I feel and the comforting discomfort I have, while keeping my options open, that gets me up there. Other times it is out of fear of the unknown and what repercussions come from committing one way or another that will put me there. It can also be that I think I can find balance between both sides effectively enough to reap the rewards each side offers.
But once it a great while, I just know that neither side will give me what I want, so I go up there searching for a new perspective to capture on life -- like this image I captured near the Grand Canyon's North Rim, where neither side did it for me.
