Just outside the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness, I saw this donkey standing next to this old broken-down bunkhouse from another era. As I passed, the way it stood next to the structure alone, staring straight at me, it felt as if as if he has been waiting all his days for his master to come home. It was just one of those scenes that quaintly speaks “SHOOT ME!” and so I slammed on the breaks and got out to work the scene. When I posted the image on social media and asked for image title ideas, within five minutes I got the comment quoted above.
