Autummorning On The Mountain Fork
"There ought to be a way to combine "autumn" and "morning" into one word, the combination of the two is special enough to be its own entity." ~ Terri Guillemets
Late November on the Mountain Fork River in Oklahoma, the rising sun finally casts its golden touch upon the river bottom and opposite bank on this fine Autummorning. Most of Autumn has peaked here, but along the river there lingers some golden spell, where still some pockets of colored futile resistance greet the day.
It was a pleasure to spend my day after Thanksgiving morning waking up and exploring this land and river, all part of my dear Aunt Jeanne's back yard of her cabin.
