Getting Into The Saddle

Rising up to elevations over 9000 feet, the Kaibab Plateau lies adjacent to one of the world's deepest canyons. Here along the edges of the Grand Canyon's North Rim, the Saddle Mountain Wilderness offers a sampling of Kaibab Plateau topography that often can go unnoticed as people scurry to the North Rim. Much of this land and its vast canyon is akin to my soul and my love for it.
