Photographed on the first day of my Christmas In Death Valley adventure. After driving all night with the dog from Tempe to Death Valley, and then after having to leave her in the jeep while I shot sunrise for awhile, I knew the next stop had to be some remote place where a dog can run without issue. After finding a nice little place off of the "20 Mule Team Canyon" trail, she spent the next half an hour running till she could not move anymore.
