The Reach Of A Sonoran Dream
“For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.” ~ Vincent van Gogh
Its is never difficult to find a saguaro cactus with character out in the Sonoran Desert. Like people, each one is unique in shape, size, and stature. So when I go out with an idea in mind to include them, it is important to me to find one that will compliment the vision I am trying to create. With the new moon allowing scintillating stars to shine through a partly cloudy sky, while the light pollution on the horizon cast a lovely warmth into the sky, I found this saguaro to perfectly represent the mood I wished to create. What I enjoyed about this one in particular is that it was so darn straight tall, with the only arms being small near the top, as if standing on its tip-toes, reaching for the stars with all its might.
