As I left "The Wave" of Vermilion Cliffs / Paria Canyon Wilderness area, I turned one last time to gaze at the subtle glorious hues and sandstone lines glowing from the half-moon overhead. I had been on location for 12 hours now and during that entire time I was lulled and swayed by the Poetry of Nature uplifting my spirit, and this last view completed the final verse for the day. I turned away and started my two hour hike out of there, feeling rejuvenated and uplifted despite the physical and mental efforts of the day.
