While exploring and photographing the sandstone geology of Coyote Buttes South, in the Vermilion Cliffs / Paria Canyon Wilderness, I would often see vast and long sweeping layers of sandstone punctuated by an individual lonely bit of life clinging to it. I appreciate the little attitudes life exhibits and it keeps me humble.
