There I sat, in my Jeep, happy with the Sunset I just finished with, but also unsure where to go or what to do next...in other words, where do I want to shoot 1st thing in the morning and where can I crash the rest of the night in support of that. I felt so alone. This is pretty much the typical evening for me...time to do some soul searching and listen for my heart's ultimate desire. What better way to do that than sit back and watch the nightly show. As I watched the last of the day's sky disappear and the galaxy start to shine, it drifted into the open space where I sat, as if walking onto a stage -- the mixed audience of aspen and conifer seemingly joining me and standing on their seats, all to watch the nightly show...and I forgot that I was alone.
