Their Last Days
"How beautifully leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days." ~ John Burroughs
Photographed along the West Fork Trail of Oak Creek, near Sedona, Arizona. The festival of Autumn colors was in seeming full parade passing me by, as I absent-mindlessly forgot I was meandering down the trail. I was in awe at the beauty of things growing old full of light and color, near the end of their season -- and I secretly doubted if my own could be so graceful.
