Observing The Effects
"The observer, when he seems to himself to be observing a stone, is really, if physics is to be believed, observing the effects of the stone upon himself." ~ Bertrand Russell
Photograph of a sandstone feature at sunset, nicknamed "Wave II", in Coyote Buttes of the Vermilion Cliffs / Paria Canyon Wilderness. Cast by the quickly receding golden light, the long shadows of the foreground textures and stones, coupled with the disappearing glow on Wave feature became much less about me observing the sandstone, and more about observing its effect upon me.
