"Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean." ~ John Muir
Hiking along The Skyline Trail near Lake Kenai, with the Kenai River in distant background of the Chugach National Forest. I had to stop for several hours and bask in the rolling clouds and sun rays as they break through.
Here is "Nature's Heart". Not a brand new image to my collection, but now re-mastered in HDR. I think there is a place in my toolbag for HDR photography, but have no intention to produce the unrealistic and surreal any further than nature already does all by her grand self. While HDR processing is robust in possibilities, I find it marvelous making just the most subtle of changes that remain in-line with my desire to keep things real and natural and truly honor the moment of being there.
