Within A Landscape Of Attentiveness
While searching for desert wildlife near dusk on a stormy but clearing day near Monument Valley, I had the pleasure to capture the silouette of this Coyote, stopping for a moment to look back. They have watched me before; I've seen their eyes in and among the distant brush. And even when I did not know they were there and was walking on without seeing the eyes, they were still there. They live within a landscape of attentiveness. In an uncommon flip-flopped moment, I got to watch this one, unnoticed.
